Under Section “11-A” of Government’s 20 Point Programme Schedule Caste and Neo Buddhists artisans are given financial assistance and grant to bring them above the poverty-line, for commencing various village Industries these artisans are given as subsidy to the tune of 50% of the loan sanctioned or Rs. 10,000./- whichever is less.
During the year under report 2135 artisans have been disbursed Rs. 100.00 lakhs as grant.
OBJECTIVES-
SC families assisted under Point No.11 of the 20 Point Programme
Financial assistance in the form of loan and subsidy
Beneficiaries whose annual income is below Rs.19,654 (for Rural area) & Rs. 27,247(for Urban area)
Subsidy to the extent of 50% of project cost or Rs.10,000/- whichever is less
